    I haven't been taking many deep-sky photos lately I haven't been taking many deep-sky photos lately because it's usually cloudy 9 days out of 10, but I tried reprocessing this photo of the Pinwheel Galaxy (M101) and I think it's much improved from my previous effort. What always amazes me about galaxy photos is that when you look closely, you can see other tiny galaxies photobombing the image. There are at least three others that I can see here!

    The photons from the Whirlpool Galaxy that I captu The photons from the Whirlpool Galaxy that I captured with my Seestar left 31 million years ago, about 10 million years before the first humanids walked on Earth. The mind can't even imagine such vast numbers.
    We were at the Canadiens game last night and they We were at the Canadiens game last night and they cranked up the volume so loud that you couldn’t tell if the crowd was booing the American national anthem. After the game, as we descended into the Métro with other fans, a busker played ‘O Canada’ on his saxophone and you could hear everyone lustily singing along (en français.) #elbowsup
